Adding TP to customs for a bone price

Some of us put a lot of effort into their customs, adding rats and owls and cats to make then faster and more driven. We may also add fawns and prairie dogs or even soldier helmets but the TP stays low even with it having been doubled compared to foundations.

I would love an option to buy extra TP with bones (or high amount of cash maybe). Not right at creation, as the script wouldn't be easy to do, and probably also not during the release phase of a new breed. And you could do it little by little, so the dog would grow in value.

I have 6 customs of my 8 I would really love to spice up a bit. I'm sure others feel the same, especially when the dogs already have 500 speed and 1000 drive.

If a person can just raise TP on a dog alone, that negates the point of breeding, and actually putting work into pushing your bloodlines into the higher TP ranges through careful breeding and extensive training. We don't need to defeat the point of one of the key features of gameplay. If you're not willing to put in the time and effort and push TP up through breeding and training, then just stick to buying pups from the people who do. Also, there's really no reason for the "duh" attitude. It comes across as very rude.

Other dogs can be made immortal with a Magical Lifelong Locket. The fact that customs are immortal makes it seem even more obvious why this would not be good for the site: They live forever and people can keep increasing and increasing and increasing their TP.

Other dogs aren't immortal. My speed and drive efforts, same as those of others, are mainly focused on the customs because money spent on increasing items isn't going away. New customs are foundation dogs, yes. But, as they have been bred, I do not see my old Zois as foundation dogs anymore, their lines were already around when I bought them. Yes I was assuming this to be pricey.

Do Not Support Players also put a lot of effort into their non-custom dogs, as well. Personally, I don't think that means we should be able to buy TP increases for them. Being able to buy TP increases defeats the point of managing lines and breedings to result in higher TPs (or TPs within certain ranges), the challenge of finding good dogs to breed, etc. Customs already have a TP boost compared to all other foundation/first generation dogs, isn't that enough?

Half the point of foundation dogs is that they're the building blocks of a great line. Customs are foundations. I don't think that I can support this for that reason alone. If you have a higher TP dog (or one with greater drive or speed) which maybe doesn't look how you want it to look, we have rainbow cupcakes to solve the problem! I think if this were implemented, the cost would have to be fairly severe to offset the perk in the game. But that's just my opinion :) EDIT: I realize that cupcakes do NOT change primary markings... so maybe a solution is that we introduce something for this!
